นี่คือรายชื่อเพลงที่สถานีวิทยุทั่วสหรัฐอเมริกาเคยได้รับคำแนะนำให้งดเปิดออกอากาศในช่วงหลายวันหลังจากเหตุการณ์วินาศกรรม 9/11 ในปี 2001
สิ่งสำคัญที่ต้องรู้คือ ไม่เคยมีข้อบังคับอย่างเป็นทางการที่สั่งแบนเพลงเหล่านี้จากการออกอากาศทางคลื่นวิทยุ โดยเพลงส่วนใหญ่เป็นผลงานเพลงร็อกและเมทัลจากศิลปินชื่อดังอย่าง AC/DC, Slipknot, Drowning Pool, P.O.D., Godsmack, Metallica, Green Day และอีกหลายสิบวง

หลังเหตุการณ์ตึกแฝดเวิลด์เทรดเซ็นเตอร์ในนิวยอร์กพังถล่มและมีผู้เสียชีวิตเกือบ 3,000 คน ทางบริษัทได้ร่างรายชื่อเพลงที่มองว่ามีความอ่อนโยนและอ่อนไหวต่อความรู้สึกของผู้คน โดยเน้นไปที่ชื่อเพลงและเนื้อเพลงที่อาจดูไม่เหมาะสมสำหรับคนในชาติที่กำลังไว้ทุกข์และยังตกใจกับโศกนาฏกรรมครั้งนี้
บันทึกข้อความภายในของ Clear Channel ที่ขอความร่วมมือไม่เปิดเพลงเหล่านี้ถูกเผยแพร่ในวง The Internal และภายหลังมีข้อมูลรั่วไหลออกไปจนทำให้เกิดเสียงวิพากษ์วิจารณ์ในสังคม
